Member organizations include investment firms, NGOs, research institutions and think tanks, and private philanthropic foundations. Regional chapters can be found around the world in Central and South America, South Africa, East Africa, and India. The mission of the organization includes providing support for small and growing businesses and their owners, who are working toward eradicating global poverty by creating economic, environmental, and social benefits in developing countries.
